How we're paid

Pregola is an independent referral service based in Hamburg, Germany, run by Elwin, Jonas and Oskar. Calls are led by Elwin or Jonas. We are not part of the platform we refer to, and we are not its agent, recruiter, representative or partner. We refer people for freelance project work only.

How the referral fee works: if, after our call, you apply through the personal referral link of the person who led your call, are selected for a project and work paid hours, the platform pays that person, Elwin or Jonas, a referral fee. The platform sets a fixed amount for each role, so the fee differs from role to role. Under the platform's current program terms, it is paid only after you have worked a minimum number of hours, currently 10 hours (or an equivalent number of tasks) within three months, and at the platform's discretion. The fee costs you nothing. We do not share it with candidates and offer no other incentives for signing up.

We only refer you with your consent, which we ask for in the call. We do not decide whether you are accepted, and we cannot promise projects, hours, duration or pay. All rates on our pages are quoted from current public listings open to applicants in Europe, as of 21 Oct 2026. They are gross, in USD, and depend on role and qualification. Listings change daily. Project work is freelance (independent contractor), fixed-term and depends on the client's needs. You are responsible for your own taxes and insurance. We never ask for your ID, bank details or passwords.
